what makes a worthwhile blog?

what makes a worthwhile blog?
yikes. you think i know?
of course i do. hence, voila!
but seriously... i think i DO have a mighty good grasp of it.
no real evidence to date, mind you. nor experience.
in fact, i haven't even read many blogs.
maybe five or six total. and that was months ago.
so what makes me think i know anything about
good blogging?
perhaps a handy dandy list might help persuade you.
what makes a worthwhile blog?
1. entertaining
2. informative
3. thought-provoking.
4. useful
5. oddly educational
6. humorous
7. intelligently redundant
8. um... contains silly lists now and then.
9. tangents!
10. lists exceed 8 or 9 items only when appropriate.
11. inspirational!
12. conservative/prudent use of exclamation marks.
13. respectful irreverence towards silly superstitions.
14. see item number 7
15. optimism (reality-based)
16. pessimism (baseless)
17. imaginative.
18. blog writer is amused by Monty Python skits.
19. originality.
20. captivating.
21. pleasently non-sensical at times.
22. whimsical (see also: items number 7, 9, 10, & 24)
23. challenging.
well, that's all for now.
